We have been talking about going to Kingman, AZ for a quick day trip so B could ride and we could go to the cool Mother Road Harley dealership. I just love the name... So today was the day. Our LV Strip adventure!!!

So I decided both boys love adventure, lights, and being out and about... So maybe it was time to introduce them to the Strip. Ivan has been to Caesar's and LOVED IT!!! And last week we visited the Luxor shortly, so I thought an adventure was needed. Why not New York, New York? It's a good part of the Strip, mommy can do a simple illegal u-turn and get us there.

Well there are sky bridges to the Excalibur AND MGM Grand... So the adventure grew. And when lunch time hit, we found Rainforest Cafe. SO MUCH FUN!!!

You walk in from the parking garage and BAM!!! Arcade. Come on, NY, NY I have kids! Let me through the door.

Ginormous bobble head the boys would NOT pose with. Gave people some good laughs.

But judging from the x-ray he had at the dentist, these 2 bottom teeth were REALLY getting pushed out. So I am hoping no more teeth for a while.

Ro has his own table at the donut shop. He always sits at the same tale, in the same chair... And he even sat there once while the nice elderly couple sitting in 2 other chairs at the same table got up and moved. UGH!!! So today we walk in, and there was a family of 5 at his table. Both owners were like "uh, oh..." The husband owner even informed me he has beard about Ro and how he kicks people out from his table. Thankfully today he followed big brother to a different table.

Ivan's 1st Dentist Appt...

WENT SO WELL!!!

I was STRESSING because his dental health is COMPLETELY on my shoulders. So I felt like if anything was wrong, it was my fault. But he did SO WELL!!! Got his x-rays done, cleaning, exam. ALL ON HIS OWN!!! And Pediatric Dentists... Really... Where were they 30 years ago? The office was FUN!!!

I was concerned because it seems like he lost his first tooth a little young, but he was also around 4 1/2 months old when he got his first teeth. The dentist says usually the earlier you get teeth, the earlier you lose them, and seeing as how close the adult teeth are, this is a natural thing. Some kids just do stuff early. And he is already getting his adult molars which usually happens at 6. TOTALLY NORMAL!!! His teeth look GREAT! I asked how the spacing was because of what all B had to go through with his teeth and braces, and he says Ivan is probably meeting B and I in the middle where he will need braces, but just as a quick fix. I never needed braces, and B had them twice. So we shall see. But I am SO PROUD of Ivan. I know I'm about a year late with the appointment, but mama has done a good job with at least her oldest. I'll be VERY nervous when it comes to Ro, let me tell you.

Hidden Falls Park

We have been waiting, and waiting, and WAITING for over a year for Hidden Falls Park to open behind our Vons. It opened Saturday, so we went and checked it out today.

It is built along Black Mountain and is REALLY cool, I could watch both boys i their respective parts of the park.

I painted the backs of the front doors black to match my railing I did, and there was some stubborn painters tape stuck to the middle metal lock thing, so I took a butter knife to try to remove it. Well, monkey see, monkey do... He then "helped" with removing undoubtedly imaginary tape from the dishwasher and causing this butter knife to disappear in a vortex between the sink cabinet and the dishwasher. I have no clue how to get it out.

Ro had at least 9 donut holes, the donut lady loves that he just shows up, sits, and eats without saying a peep.

Ro and I ran errands while B and Ivan ran errands, and can you believe we ended up at the same grocery store? HAHAHAHA!!! When I saw B on the far end of the store I texted him this picture. He informed me he was also at the store, about 5 minutes after Ivan had already found me.

Lake Las Vegas and Montelago Village are supposed to look like a cute little European waterfront town, and it felt like I was in Montpelier, France! Just a little colder. We just walked around and went into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate shop, but the boys enjoyed it.

Ivan's fave color, purple... My boys biggest foe, THE SUN!!! But I thought it was a cute picture.

The family room coffee table needs to be revamped. The pull up storage area has been OBLITERATED by the boys. So I removed the hardware and glued and nailed it shut. BUT!!! The boys thought coloring the table was cool, and the key lime paint I got was undoubtedly NOT gloss... So I need to repaint it. But while it's under construction, and I undoubtedly had the kitchen island taken up with stuff today, the boys adopted a random living room end table as their new hang out with their cool stools.

We took Fishy Gramma to Bass Pro and the mermaid show at the Silverton. The mermaid was about 5 minutes late, and like his daddy, Ro waits for no woman and headed straight to the motorcycles they had displayed at the fish tank.

Today was Ivan's school Halloween party where I got to help out, and Ro had fun playing with all the toys while the students held their carnival. Ivan wore his Batman costume from last year because masks and weapons were not allowed, and hes Jason from Friday the 13th this year. So this is part 1.

I decided to wear my hot pink wig, fake lashes and some silvery make up... And I was really the only mom THAT decked out. But I had fun. A kid asked me who I was, and I said a bored housewife. He took a sec in thought and replied, "I don't know what that is." HAHAHAHAHA!!!
